Hunmanby Heritage Day: Wrangham House and Local History Group Display

FreeA Grade II listed Georgian house, this property was the vicarage for Hunmanby and surrounding villages.
Wrangham House was occupied in the late 18th and early 19th centuries by Archdeacon Francis Wrangham, who was a notable literary figure, abolitionist and social reformer. An avid bibliophile, he built a new wing, now the hotel dining room, to house his large personal library.
Hunmanby Local History Group will be having an exhibition “Women of Hunmanby” where there will be photographs and information. The local history group will also a quiz about 19th Century fashion.
