Join passionate local historian, Catherine Welch, for a walk along the promenade as she brings the stories alive about the many different shipwrecks in Filey Bay.
From the famous Bonhomme Richard to colliers and fishing cobles. The sea has claimed many a victim in peace and war.
Let Catherine’s imagination carry you out onto storm lashed waves, steer you into the path of a U Boat’s torpedoes … all from the safety of the promenade!
